Eugene Collins is an executive leader, journalist, documentary producer, and founder of Collins The Brand. He serves as Executive Director of the Baton Rouge AIDS Society and Louisiana Correspondent for For Your Health News. A former NAACP Baton Rouge President, Collins produces community-centered media focused on health, justice, mentorship, and impact.
Nicole Tate-Alvarez
National Voice
Nicole Tate-Alvarez is a Baton Rouge native, Southern University graduate, and community voice with a gift for informative gab. With a background in psychology, she brings insight to storytelling, voter engagement, and service. Married to James and mother of two sickle cell warriors, she celebrates culture, advocacy, and community impact.

Dr. Mia Ayleen Crawford Johnson is a public servant, scholar, advocate, and Southern University graduate committed to education, equity, and community resilience. She brings policy insight, disaster resilience experience, and a service-centered lens to her role, helping Collins The Brand examine power, uplift underserved communities, and advance meaningful civic conversations.

Ronald Haley is a Baton Rouge advocate, business consultant, community leader, and former civil rights attorney with nearly two decades of experience in law, public accountability, and community empowerment. He brings legal insight, policy experience, and a justice-centered voice to Collins The Brand, helping examine systems, elevate truth, and champion underserved communities.

Charles “Carlos” Jean Jr. is a Baton Rouge-based sports voice covering sports, culture, and community impact. With experience in public service, nonprofit leadership, and grassroots engagement, he brings a community-centered lens to Collins The Brand, spotlighting athletics, leadership, local athletes, coaches, teams, and the people behind the headlines.

Skylar Haley is an accomplished student leader, public speaker, performer, and advocate from Lafayette, Louisiana. A 4.0 gifted student and FBLA leader, she brings a strong youth voice, leadership experience, and creative perspective to Collins The Brand, helping spotlight student culture, young leaders, education, service, and NextGen impact.
Lael Montgomery
Community Voice
Lael Montgomery is a former Zachary, Louisiana councilman, community advocate, and public servant with a heart for local leadership and neighborhood impact. He brings civic experience, community relationships, and a grounded local perspective to Collins The Brand, helping spotlight everyday people, community issues, service, leadership, and stories that strengthen communities.
